A REBRAND:

To reflect the company's expanding vision, crafting a bold, versatile mark was the ultimate decision. This logo takes the shape of a camera, symbolizing AC Unit Creative's foundation in photography, along with the founders' own initials embedded in the form. The result was a mark with structure and balance – a clean, modern design that captures AC Unit Creative's forward-thinking sprit while honoring their commitment to storytelling and impactful visuals.

Waves and gradients inspired by the ocean blues and costal sunsets were added to modernize the look, while maintaining consistency with the existing Asbury Park Summer Slam Games logo. The goal was to provide depth while keeping it aligned with the established identity – and of course, reflect the town in which this event is being held.

Inspired by classic "VOTE" stickers, this logo includes colors of the progress pride flag to represent inclusivity, visibility, and empowerment. The goal was to create a visually striking yet accessible design that communicates a clear message: civic engagement is a vital part of equality. Every choice was intentional, reinforcing the idea that every vote counts –
especially in the fight for LGBTQ+ rights and representation.

Drawing from vintage design elements such as bold typography and classic icons, this logo captures a strong sense of unity, resilience, and celebration. Placing the tagline within the badge's layout further reinforces the message of collective strength and living with pride. Choosing to pull inspiration from nostalgic style was fully intentional, to evoke both history and progress – creating a logo that feels timeless yet powerfully relevant.
